Jeff Everett, of the Carroll County Agricultural Preservation Program, discusses land preservation strategies in the county.  Jeff addresses the threat that suburban sprawl poses towards some of America’s best farmland.

Using European growth models that utilize a sharp demarcation between town and country, Jeff advocates a strategy involving surrounding urban growth areas with protected agricultural land in order to mitigate the effects of sprawl on the county.
